Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region (BBBSV) is committed to protecting the privacy of its members – including volunteers, mentors, mentees, families, staff or other users of this website. With this in mind, BBBSV has created the following policies for the protection of our users should any situations arise. Members are always encouraged to contact BBBSV to ask questions, and report any issues they are facing.
Our policies are in place to protect all members of the BBBSV community – private information will never be shared and any data collected using this website is general in nature, and is not shared to third parties. BBBSV does not use cookies to track your website behavior across this, or any other website.
PRIVACY POLICY
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region (BBBSV), we believe in maintaining ethical conduct in all aspects of our operations, and how we present our programs to the community. We value privacy and confidentiality for everyone involved in our programs or our greater community, and are dedicated to upholding these principles within the boundaries set by the law. Our agency complies with all relevant Federal and Provincial Privacy legislation, to safeguard the professional and personal privacy and confidentiality of our employees, volunteers, clients, and contractual relationships.

Complaints Policy
At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region (BBBSV), we are dedicated to promptly responding to complaints and conducting thorough investigations. Whether it’s from our staff, Board members, volunteers, donors, or external stakeholders, we approach each complaint with ethics and courtesy.
We strive to resolve complaints swiftly, keeping complainants updated and providing clear reasoning for review decisions. BBBSV is committed to seeing complaints as opportunities for improvement in our services, policies, and procedures.
