CONSISTENCY(Required) Is attendance consistent? Do you get the sense that your mentees feel they can rely on you?
CONNECTEDNESS(Required) How connected is your group? What could you do to increase feelings of connection (if applicable)? Is your group growing closer as the weeks go on? How clear are everyone's boundaries?
YOUTH CENTEREDNESS(Required) How much input do your mentees have in activities and discussions? Is there a balance between everyone's speaking time? Is anyone monopolizing the conversations? How can we ensure, moving forward, that this group is operating in a youth-centered manner? In other words, how can we make sure it's a level playing field for all mentees?
Structure(Required) How much structure is present in your group meetings? Are you working towards any goals together, individually or as a group?
Duration & Expectations(Required) Are you happy with the length of your sessions and the duration of the program season? In other words, how do you feel about the amount of time you have with your mentees? What were your expectations at the beginning of your group meetings? Were those expectations communicated, and are they being met? If not, how can we improve that?
How are things working out with your co-facilitators? What is working well, what are the challenges? Any specific dynamics or issues that you would like to share? Is there open, honest, and respectful communication happening?(Required) Please let me know if you would like me to follow up with you regarding these challenges. Note: I am unable to communicate with your co-facilitators on your behalf unless absolutely necessary. I can work with you to formulate your thoughts as needed, but please do your best to communicate with your team to iron out any issues. If this does not work, I will happily step in and facilitate a conversation. Remember, addressing challenges with a team is a great learning opportunity!
