FANCY & DAVID FOUNDATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE WITH $10,000 DONATION

On January 14, 40 of our mentors and mentees cheered on the Victoria Royals at their Lunar New Year celebration game with tickets donated by the Fancy & David Foundation. Their generosity gave our matches an opportunity to spend time together and share an experience out in the community.

In addition to providing tickets for our matches to the hockey game, Fancy Ching and David Wong also presented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria Capital Region with a $10,000 cheque at the game to support mentoring programs for children and youth in our community.

We are so grateful for the incredible support of the Fancy & David Foundation to help us grow our programs for local children and youth in need of developmental mentoring relationships. These programs help young people to build confidence, learn new things and experience opportunities as they grow into happy, healthy members of our community.

There are currently over 150 young people on our waitlist who are waiting to be matched with a supportive adult or teen mentor. Fancy & David’s donation will help us to enable even more life-changing mentoring relationships for these children and youth in our community who need someone to look up to, spend time with and share experiences with.
